Can an app really help me quit vaping?
Quitzilla won't quit for you, but it makes your progress easy to see. You choose a few reasons to quit and tell it what vaping cost you and when you last vaped. From there it counts your vape-free time to the second, adds up what you've saved and sets your next goal each time you reach one, from the first day to ten years. It's a tracker, so it doesn't replace advice from a doctor or a stop-smoking service.
How does Quitzilla work out the money I save by not vaping?
You enter what vaping cost you per day, week or month, whether the money went on pods, disposables or e-liquid. Quitzilla turns that into a balance that grows with your vape-free time, and View Potential Savings shows how much you'll have kept by a future date you pick. Give a reward a name and a price, and your savings fill it up until it's ready to purchase.
What happens if I vape again after quitting?
Add it to the diary as a relapse. Your timer and current goal start again from that moment, but your diary, your earlier vape-free periods and your records stay, including the longest one. A line about what set it off, say a friend passing their vape around, gives you something to plan for next time.
Can I track vaping and smoking at the same time?
Yes. Vaping and Smoking are separate habit templates, so you can add both, and each gets its own timer, savings, goals and reasons. A relapse on one doesn't restart the other. The free version tracks up to two habits, enough for this pair, and Premium removes the limit.
Is Quitzilla free?
Yes. It's free to download on iPhone and Android, and the free version includes up to two habits, the vape-free timer, savings and rewards, built-in goals, your reasons and the diary. Premium is optional: it adds unlimited habits, home screen widgets, charts, custom goals and your own color for each habit. On Android, Premium also removes ads.
