How can a tracker help me quit sugar?
Quitzilla doesn't plan your meals, it keeps count. When you set up Sugar, you enter the date you last had it, roughly what sweets cost you and a few reasons to quit. After that, the app counts every sugar-free second, totals the money you didn't spend on treats and shows how far along you are toward your next goal, from 1 day up to 10 years. For health questions, talk to a doctor or dietitian.
How does Quitzilla work out the money I save on sweets?
Think about where the money went: the chocolate with your afternoon break, the pastry with your coffee, the soda from the machine. Enter a rough amount per day, week or month, and Quitzilla multiplies it by your sugar-free time. Small sums grow, and you can pick a reward, set its price and watch your savings fill it. If sweets took up your time as well, you can track that too.
I had dessert. Do I start from zero?
Only your current streak does. Log the dessert in the diary as a relapse, and the timer counts again from that moment. Your earlier sugar-free periods stay in your statistics, including the longest one, and your diary keeps every entry. A few words about the moment, a family dinner or a stressful evening, help you see what tends to set off a craving.
What counts as sugar in Quitzilla?
You decide. Some people track sweets and desserts, others sugary drinks or all added sugar. Quitzilla doesn't check what you eat: it counts the time since you last had what you're avoiding. You can also add a habit with a name you choose, like "No desserts", and Soda is a separate template if you want to track it on its own.
Is Quitzilla free?
Yes. On iPhone and Android you can track two habits for free, each with its timer, savings, rewards, reasons and diary. Premium removes the habit limit and adds home screen widgets, charts and your own colors for each habit.
